Llama Beans

SOIL ENRICHMENT

POVERTY HOLLOW LLAMA “BEANS”

Llama manure, known as llama “beans”, is a favorite of organic gardeners.
Free of chemicals, with almost no odor, no mess, llama beans are easy to use and provide vital nutrients to the soil.  Sometimes, the “beans” are referred to as pellets because of their shape and size.

Suggestions for Use:

Llama “beans” can be used on outdoor gardens by applying beans around plants or by mixing the beans— whole or crushed—into the soil.  Applying straight/undiluted llama beans onto roots of plants is not recommended.

Suggestions for making llama “bean tea” as liquid fertilizer:

Here is one way to make this “tea”: using a gallon jug, fill it with water, add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of “beans” and let it sit overnight.  The water will darken.  Water your plants with this “tea.”  Replenish the jug with water and add “beans” as necessary.
